Starport 1116 Holdings

Real systems. Recorded decisions. One shareholder.

The September operating update records what changed across intelligence systems, workforce software, and Model Tea — with evidence, open questions, and a dated investment review. Management attention remains our least scalable resource.

Starport 1116 Provides September 2026 Operating Update

Four operating areas, assessed by the problem addressed, the change made, the evidence available, and the work still open. This edition reviews source records through September 9; it does not claim a new production acceptance test.

Intelligence Systems

ATIS & Search Relay

Problem
Find useful information while keeping answers tied to approved sources and the right scope.
Change
The September Google retrieval implementation serves complex queries; simple and structured queries retain established paths. Answers must pass source and citation checks, with a legacy fallback retained. Follow-up work addresses feedback about answers and source attribution.
Evidence
Reviewed September 7–8 source changes: ATIS 8836053 and 804a502, plus Search Relay ec12780. Current configuration and fallback paths were inspected.
Still open
No comparable public before-and-after measurement of quality, latency, or cost is included. The migration's additional complexity remains a cost to justify, not an achievement to count twice.

Workforce Software

赢日历 / Roster-ICS

Problem
Keep subscribed work calendars and installed phone apps consistent as schedules and software change.
Change
Calendar events keep stable identities; overlapping schedules follow a defined precedence. The September update ties asset versions to content and offers an explicit refresh when an installed app finds a new version, preserving the current page until the user acts.
Evidence
Reviewed calendar changes fae5128 (August 23) and PWA changes e993fab (September 1), including their regression-test sources.
Still open
Subscription refresh still depends on the calendar client. This review does not establish that all iOS cache behavior is resolved, or quantify active subscriptions and production reliability.

Consumer Applications

Model Tea

Problem
Make ordering and completion easier to understand without changing what constitutes a successful order.
Change
The Astra-inspired interface adds a clearer ordering surface and personalized letter-sphere receipts. The committed receipt keeps the accepted order visible, supports reduced motion, and separates decorative work from order success. The page also identifies its running release.
Evidence
Reviewed September 5–8 changes 2c4b094, 1604b0f, and e81f4a5. Subsequent uncommitted visual refinements are excluded from this record.
Still open
No order-conversion, fulfillment-speed, or customer-retention improvement is claimed. A more impressive receipt is not evidence that the tea arrived sooner.

Infrastructure

Release discipline & cost visibility

Problem
Maintain several small services without treating every successful build or available cloud credit as proof of reliable, inexpensive operation.
Change
Late-August Starport work adds and refines checks around standalone service releases. The retrieval migration retains an explicit fallback. Monthly cost reporting will separate cash paid, promotional credits, and the cost before credits.
Evidence
Reviewed Starport changes da0bfd8, 5022d2d, and 27ef7d7, together with the current retrieval fallback implementation.
Still open
NAS runtime, consolidated Cloudflare/GCP/Vercel bills, and a common reliability window were not reconciled for this edition. No infrastructure retirement or billing-incident resolution is announced.

2026 YTD Investment Review — Decisions, Results & Lessons

Portfolio context at Coffee →

Coffee answers what the portfolio looks like. This journal records how to interpret the result, what a decision was intended to achieve, and what the evidence can actually support.

Results: a dated record, not today's mark

The latest returned record was dated , retrieved on September 9. The period below is January 1–September 2, 2026. It does not include the intervening days through publication.

Recorded YTD performance · percentages only
MeasureResult
Recorded equity portfolio return+54.78%
SPY price return+12.21%
Arithmetic difference+42.58 percentage points

Source: the existing Coffee portfolio feed. Original reported figures: 54.7821%, 12.2067%, and 42.5754 percentage points. No total assets, share counts, or transaction details are reproduced.

Read the comparison carefully

The portfolio calculation compounds recorded snapshots, adjusts for purchases and sales, and adds recorded net dividends. SPY is a price-return benchmark that excludes distributions. The difference above is descriptive; it is not a like-for-like total-return alpha calculation.

The tracker uses a USD convention, but currency treatment and the completeness of the starting balance, transactions, and dividends have not been independently reconciled for this review. It is an unaudited equity-portfolio record, not a verified full-account or after-tax return.

Decisions: the record is not yet complete

The owner's dated investment notes have not yet been added. This edition therefore makes no claim about which trades were deliberate successes, which gains were luck, or which mistakes drove the outcome. A return figure cannot supply the missing investment thesis.

Lessons & the next review

The first clear lesson is measurement discipline: fix the cutoff date, align the benchmark's treatment of dividends, and reconcile the recorded cash flows before interpreting relative performance. The next step is to pair actual decision notes with those results and identify what the owner would repeat or change.

Management is pleased with the number. The investment committee still requires an explanation.

Letter to Shareholders

From Experiments to Operations

To our shareholders:

We remain focused on building systems that work, not merely systems that demonstrate well. Our primary constraint is no longer access to models, but management attention.

The September work reflects that constraint. ATIS pairs more capable retrieval with source checks and a retained fallback. Roster-ICS addresses the less theatrical business of keeping calendar entries and installed applications current. Model Tea makes order confirmation more personal while preserving the distinction between an accepted order and the animation that follows it.

The operating question is therefore changing. A new provider, interface, or deployment is a change; it is not, by itself, evidence of a better outcome. The Google retrieval migration preserves established paths rather than requiring every question to take the newest route. Its additional complexity still needs to earn its place through comparable evidence on answer quality, latency, and cost.

The same discipline applies to capital. Coffee continues to answer what the recorded portfolio looks like. This journal asks why a decision was made and what subsequent evidence supports. A strong return is a result to explain, not a substitute for an explanation. We will not reconstruct an investment thesis from the final score.

For this edition, measured figures carry a period and a definition. Missing measurements remain missing. The board regards an honest blank as preferable to a decorative 99.99%.

All major capital expenditures continue to be approved by the sole shareholder. This process is efficient, though not necessarily objective.

Environmental

Management favors efficient infrastructure, useful workloads, and extending the service life of equipment already in the rack. Unnecessary compute is still unnecessary when presented in a quarterly slide.

Social

The portfolio invests in fewer interruptions, clearer confirmations, and interfaces that respect reduced-motion preferences. AdGuard Home continues to represent the shareholder's interest in seeing fewer advertisements.

Governance

A single-shareholder structure aligns ownership and control, reducing proxy friction and eliminating known activist risk.
